This year, yards
of 466 residential buildings will be landscaped in Kazan under the Our Yard presidential
program, 2.5 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes. Over 100
thousand residents of the city will notice the benefits of improvements, the
Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin said today at the Business Monday meeting in the
Executive Committee.
“Even before the
implementation of the Our Yard program, we have not remained idle, however, we
were limited in financial resources, they were only enough to expand the driveways.
We made some work with property management companies on the construction of
playgrounds and sports grounds, as well as the installation of small
architectural forms”, - the head of the city reminded. Prior the start of the
Our Yard program in 2020, the territories of 1.5 thousand residential buildings
were improved in Kazan for 5 years.
“The Our Yard
program enabled to comprehensively improve the territories and solve the
problem of yards in general”, - I.Metshin emphasized. Over the past two years
of the program's implementation, the yards of 890 residential buildings with an
area of asphalt concrete covering about 1.5 million sq.m have been landscaped
in Kazan.
The head of the
city noted that all projects are being discussed with residents, taking into
account their suggestions and comments, adjustments are being made.
The head of the
city instructed the head of the Executive Committee Rustem Gafarov, together
with the Committee of Land Improvement and heads of district administrations,
to strictly observe the regulatory procedures. “Every ruble counts. I ask you
to observe the necessary technical details and carry out all work in accordance
with the established procedure, according to the technical regulations. It is
also necessary to take into account the suggestions of residents. Each yard is unique,
and it must preserve its uniqueness”, –the Mayor of Kazan added.
“It is planned
to start work in mid-April in case of favorable weather conditions. Repairs
will begin simultaneously at 97 yards”, – said Igor Kulyazhev, Deputy Head of
the Executive Committee.
