(KZN.RU,
November 22, Anton Nozdrin). The overhaul is carried out in the Kazan Culture
and Sports Center “Moskovsky” (former the HoC “Uritsky”). The brickwork is
completed, floors are restored, a complete redevelopment of the premises is
carried out, the sports and assembly hall is updated, and ergonomic classes are
organized. After all the works, the CSC will become a multifunctional cultural
center, and the number of visitors will grow more than 2 times from 150-200
people per day to 500. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, inspected the
overhaul process. He instructed to reformat the content of the work of the HoC
in order to meet the requirements of the times.
Sergey
Mironov, the head of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts’ administration, and
Minnegarai Nasibullin, the general director of the contractor organization
“Remontstroyservice”, reported to the Mayor on the progress of work. As Sergey
Mironov noted, the building, in which the center is based, was built in 1939.
This institution of culture has never been completely repaired or reconstructed
for the entire period of operation.
“Now all
the structures have been restored, they are in good condition. We are finishing
the work using a new composite modern material”, said M. Nasibullin.
After the
renovation, the building will become more modern, due to which it will meet the
tasks and projects of the House of Culture. Regina Suyundukova, the director of
the studio of architecture and design “Plan”, said that designers have
organized a modern multifunctional space designed for various events.
For
example, after the repair, a co-working zone, an open cafe with glass
partitions, which can be moved and thereby reorganize space, new premises,
including a small assembly hall and additional convenient ergonomic classes,
will appear in the CSC “Moskovsky”. But the most anticipated change in the
center will be the renovation of the sports hall.
Ilsur
Metshin instructed to pay special attention to the work in the large assembly
hall for 420 seats. The next stage after the overhaul will be the acquisition
of seats for spectators and the “clothes” for the stage. “This will be another
venue along with such halls as a hall in the Philharmonia, where any concerts
can be held”, said the head of the city.
Architects
also worked outside the building. Now the green zone, the new eco-space, where
you can conduct classes, will appear in the yard. The building will change
externally as well: stained-glass windows appear along the perimeter, and the
lighting will be installed on the facade. Work on the facade is carried out
now.
Ilsur
Metshin noted that he is impressed by the amount of work. “It preserves the
beauty and charm of the Soviet era architecture, and your new solutions show
the achievements of the XXI century. It should be a great mix”, said the Mayor
of Kazan.
According
to the Mayor, after changing the building of the house of culture, it is now
important to change its content. Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the
Executive Committee, noted that a new concept is being developed, according to
which the park and the house of culture are not divided and work in them is
carried out in a complex manner. “It will become a single space: all
collectives go out into the park and work there in the summer. And all the
concerts of musical and art schools are also held in the green zone”, said D. Fattakhov.
N.
Mustafina confirmed that the content of the center will be updated. According
to her, studios of cinematography, photography, robotics, radio engineering,
architectural design school, language school, early childhood development
school, and many others will open in the center. At the same time, there will
be old traditional sections of various art. Before the repair, the center was
visited by about 150-200 people a day. Ana after the opening, the number of
visits is planned to increase more than 2 times: at least to 500 people a day,
explained Azat Abzalov, the head of the Department of Culture, who also took
part in the meeting.
The Mayor
of Kazan noted that the work must be done qualitatively and on time. “The CSC
“Moskovsky” will become a big center of culture and social life of the whole
district. It will be a great gift to Kazan citizens”, said Ilsur Metshin.
