This year, the Vmeste center for additional education and a carpentry workshop for special needs children opened in Kazan. Next month, an inclusive printing house for children is scheduled to open. Tatiana Merzlyakova, director of the “Good Kazan”, spoke about the development of infrastructure to support people with special needs.
«The Good Kazan was our first project, where we brought together charitable foundations, patrons and caring people. Today, ANO “Good Kazan” combines new projects, such as “Good Tatarstan”, and colleagues from other cities are adopting our practices. Now, we cannot imagine our lives and modern Kazan without the kind and warm initiative of the «Good Kazan», - noted Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of the city.

Thanks to the efforts of «Good Kazan», infrastructure for people with special needs is being developed in the capital of Tatarstan: new inclusive centers, workshops, and educational platforms are opening, providing opportunities for children, adolescents, and adults with intellectual disabilities to acquire professional skills, find employment, and fully integrate into society.
