The yard improvement program under the Our Yard republican program has
reached the halfway point in Kazan, completing 53% of the planned work. To
date, the improvement of 149 yards has been completed, and work is underway at 133
more. One of these sites is the yard of houses 85 and 87 on Pavlyukhina Street,
where landscaping work is underway. A children's playground, sports ground,
chess table, and container platform will be installed in the area.
Additionally, as part of the program, comprehensive repairs to the roof and
facade of house 85 will be carried out. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin
inspected progress of construction work.
“During the implementation of the Our Yard program, 2,800 yards have
been improved - 80% of the total number of territories that required repair.
Thanks to the support of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov the
program will continue this year and improvements will benefit 100,000 city
residents,”- said Ilsur Metshin.
The small architectural forms, such as swings, slides and sandboxes,
will be installed for children on the playgrounds.
“We are happy to have such active and caring residents in our community.
Budget funds and the work of the property management company are important, but
when we work together, we know that we can achieve great things,”- the Mayor said, speaking with residents.
Meanwhile, a comprehensive repair of the roof and façade will be carried
out as part of the program at 85 Pavlyukhina Street as part.
