This year, an unprecedented number of roads will be repaired in the
villages of Kazan – as many as 91 streets. This is more than half of all
roadworks in the city. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the progress
of repair work in the Pervomaisky settlement today and met with one of the
residents who invited him to visit. On three village streets - Krasnouralskaya,
Selekzionnaya, and Mayskaya - workers have begun laying asphalt pavement.
Currently, the works are 60% completed.
Sergey Nikolaev, resident of the Pervomaisky village in the Privolzhsky
city district, invited Ilsur Metshin to visit their village in a comment under
an article in the newspaper BUSINESS Online.
Today, the Mayor held an on-site meeting with residents of the
Pervomaisky village to discuss road works and personally met with Sergey Nikolaev.
“Thank you for your visit,
it turns out that you receive our feedback,”- Sergey
Vladimirovich said. He told the Mayor
that the
monument in honor
of the villagers who participated in the World War II includes the names of his
father and uncle.
Other residents
also gathered
around the Mayor with
interest.
“The national project allowed us to bring 85% of the city's roads
to a standard
condition, as well as to strengthen road
works in
the villages,”- Ilsur Metshin
shared with the residents of the village.
