The construction of the largest polyclinic in the city, which will serve
60,000 residents, is being completed in Salavat Kupere. The new medical
facility, designed for 750 visits per shift, will include children's and adult
polyclinics, a maternity welfare center, a trauma center and a branch of the
ambulance station. The building has been completely built, brickwork of walls
and partitions has been completed, and a roof work has been carried out.
Installation of utilities and finishing works are currently being carried out.
Next, landscaping of the surrounding area is planned. The progress of
construction works was inspected by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
he medical facility with an area of 12,000 square meters is being built under
the Healthcare national project. “Kazan is a leader in the construction of
social infrastructure facilities. We are building schools, kindergartens,
hospitals and polyclinics the most among the million-plus cities. Thanks to the
support of the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, we are now
building one of the largest hospitals not only in the capital, but also in the
republic,”- Ilsur Metshin noted.
Today, more than 35,000 people, including more than 9,000 children, live
in the actively growing residential area Salavat Kupere. The medical facility,
the construction of which started in January, will have all the necessary
conditions for protecting the health of citizens, diagnosing and preventing
diseases. At the same time, they will not need to travel to the city for
medical services.
“As part of a medical facility
which serves a population of 60,000 people, an adult and children's polyclinic,
an ambulance station, a trauma center, and a maternity welfare center will
work,”-Ilsur Metshin said.
The premises of the children's polyclinic, which will be designed for
250 visits per shift, will be located on all three floors of the building. The
first floor will have a filter for patients with fever, a hall with information
for making appointments with doctors, a wardrobe, a buffet, an office of the
duty doctor, treatment rooms, an X-ray room. The offices of pediatricians and
specialized doctors will be opened on the second floor, a day hospital, a
physiotherapy department, and a physical therapy room will be opened on the
third floor.
Each floor of the children's clinic is decorated in a certain color: the
first is in green, the second is in orange, the third is in blue.
The premises of the adult polyclinic, designed for 500 visits per shift,
will be located on four floors of the building. On the first of them there will
be a hall with information desks for doctors, a buffet, a wardrobe, a pharmacy,
a diagnostic department with a CT scanner, two X-ray machines, an office of the
duty doctor, an emergency room, a maternity welfare center.
Therapists' offices and an ambulance substation for five teams will open
on the second floor. On the third floor, narrow specialists will receive
patients, and on the fourth floor there will be a day hospital, functional
diagnostics rooms, and a physiotherapy department.
