The construction of a school for 1,224 students in the M14 district is
planned to be completed by September. The readiness of the institution, which
is being built under the Education national project, was inspected by the Mayor
of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. The school № 133 will introduce an adaptive program for
children with autism spectrum disorder and free supplementary classes. Journalism,
video creation, speed reading classes will work free of charge at school.
Landscaping will be carried out on the territory and a sports area with a track,
a football pitch, a hockey rink and outdoor workout equipment will be installed.
The head of the city noted that Kazan remains the leader in the
construction of schools and kindergartens among the million-plus cities, with
the exception of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Over the past 10 years, 177 social
facilities have been built in Kazan – 90 preschool and 25 schools, as well as
hospitals, polyclinics, teen clubs and youth centers. It is important not to
slow down the pace of construction, as the population is growing. In the
capital of the republic of Tatarstan, 63 sites have been reserved for new
schools and 134 for kindergartens in the upcoming years.
The three–storey school building with a total area of 20,700 square
meters will have 52 classrooms, an assembly hall for 306 children, recreational
areas for younger and older children, two gyms. An illuminated art object will
be installed in the 612-seat dining room, which will operate in the format of a
school restaurant.
The design of the school will be dedicated to the Year of the Family in
Russia. The main color scheme will be made up of pastel tones: yellow (embodies
the warmth of the hearth), green (symbolizes harmony and comfort), blue (refers
to the peaceful sky).
The school will focus on the study of modern technologies. Thus, it is
planned to open a school of creative industries, where they will teach the
creation of videos on the Mediaorbita program and the analysis of new
technologies under the Technoorbita program, as well as a drone construction
school. An early career guidance program is provided for children, additional
classes on author's programs from leading teachers of the country. It is
planned to establish cooperation with the Kazan Federal University.
Additional education will be provided in rhythmic gymnastics, football,
choreography, journalism and robotics classes, a workshop for making ceramics,
speed- reading and a music school will be opened for children.
