In Kazan, the renovation program for apartment buildings has been completed by 35.3%. The replacement of 81 elevators was carried out at 26 buildings. This year's program covers 226 apartment buildings. This was announced by Ilsur Khismatullin, head of the Kazan Housing and Utilities Services Committee, during a Business Monday meeting.
To date, 35.4% of roof repairs, 28.5% of central heating systems, 32% of facades, and 44.7% of elevator equipment have been completed.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted the importance of daily monitoring of progress in work in close communication with residents. “We have been implementing the overhaul program for several years, but it's important to continue to monitor it on a daily basis. It's important to stay in dialogue with residents,”- the Mayor noted.
The Mayor also stressed the importance of monitoring deadlines and the quality of work.
Ilsur Khismatullin said that all subcontractors had signed contracts for the removal and disposal of construction waste. Renovation work is scheduled to be completed by November 1, and seasonal work - repairs of the heating systems, roofs, and facades - by August 15.
In the past 18 years, the overhaul program in Kazan allowed to put 4,191 apartment buildings to a standard technical condition. Of these, 1,329 buildings were comprehensively renovated, as well as 3,241 elevators were replaced.
