On the eve of the International Women's Day, the
results of the “Woman of the Year. Man of the Year: women’s perspective” city
contest were summed up at the Kazan City Hall. The Mayor of the capital of
Tatarstan Ilsur Metshin presented the awards to the winners.
Leyla Fazleeva, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, as
well as women-representatives of the State Council of the republic of Tatarstan
and the Kazan City Duma, residents of the capital of Tatarstan - leaders in
various industries of urban economy took part in the ceremony. Traditionally,
the competition honors mothers with many children, employees of industrial
enterprises, business representatives and residents of Kazan who have
contributed to the development and prosperity of the city.
Saria Badakshanova has become the winner in the
nomination “Mother Woman”- together with her husband Robert Badakshanov they
raise nine children.
“Children are our future. It is great that families
have two and three children, and some have even more. We are doing everything
possible to make our future brighter and better, so that young Kazan residents
have a happy childhood”, - Ilsur Metshin emphasized.
The head of Tatarstan Department of Rospotrebnadzor
(Federal Agency for Surveillance of Customers Rights) - chief state sanitary
doctor of the republic Marina Patyashina won in the nomination “Woman- leader”.
“The main challenge I have had to go through in recent years is the uncertainty.
No one has faced such difficulties before, but thanks to our joint work, we
were able to manage our work for wellbeing of all residents of the residents”, -
she said.
The Mayor agreed that the last two years were
challenging. The coronavirus pandemic and its consequences have affected the
whole world. During this difficult period, women supported their families,
protecting loved ones and at the same time continued to work, the Mayor emphasized.
Albina Sergeeva won in the nomination “Business Woman”.
She is the founder of a network of boarding houses where elderly residents,
people with disabilities and the disabled receive assistance.
Lutsia Kamalova, accompanist of the cultural center in
the residential area of Kadyshevo, the creator of the vocal ensemble and the Zenger
Qul Tatar ensemble was awarded for her contribution to the development of cultural
values.
Ekaterina Krasnova and Yulia Sozinova became the
winners in the nomination “Women- Role Model of the Year”. As the Mayor of
Kazan noted, women who contributed to the fight against coronavirus during the
pandemic deserved special attention. Thus, Yulia Sozinova, being the deputy
chief physician of the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, took
an active part in the establishment of the new block of medical institution. Being
a practicing infectious disease doctor, she was in the hospital around the
clock and assisted every patient.
Special words of gratitude were said to Ekaterina
Krasnova. As a psychologist, she has developed a special adaptation technique
for blind people.
The winner in the “My destiny is my profession” nomination
has become Firdausya Tukhbatullina - a quality control engineer at KMPO JSC.
For 34 years, she has been working and training young employees at the
enterprise.
Another winner in this nomination was a crane operator
with 38 years of experience, Daniya Sabirova. She works at PJSC
Kazancompressormash and operates bridge cranes with a lifting capacity of up to
50 tons.
Madina Rakhimova, a locksmith with 50 years of
experience at Kazan Helicopter Plant JSC, was recognized as the winner in the “Hero
of the Third Age” nomination.
For her contribution to the development of the Tatar
language, the winner in the nomination “Woman Scientist” was Candidate of
Pedagogical Sciences, leading lecturer of Kazan Federal University, academic
director of the Center for Online School of Tatar Language Teaching “Ana Tele”
Kadriya Fatkhullova. She is the author of the educational book “Let's speak
Tatar”, as well as other textbooks for schools, dictionaries, phrasebooks.
The winner in the nomination “Special recognition” was
Alina Zaripova. Being an experienced teacher of school No.175, she developed
her own methodology for teaching the Tatar language.
Ilya Shkolnikov, Deputy Director of the ANO “Day Care
Center for the Disabled” won in the nomination “A man with a noble heart” as
part for the contest “A Man of the Year”. Thanks to his active activity, the
country's first conductive kindergarten will open in the Privolzhsky district
of Kazan this year.
The winner in the nomination “Man leader” was the
chief doctor of the Kazan Ambulance Station, Farid Galyautdinov.
“Let me express my respect and sincere gratitude to
you for everything you do for us”, – Ilsur Metshin said speaking at the end of
the ceremony.
