I.Metshin: “All charity foundations will be under one roof – people will know exactly that they can receive support here”

The “Good Kazan” autonomous non-profit organization will open its office on Sechenov Street, 5 in the Sovetsky district of the city. All charity organizations will be located under one roof with an option of holding master classes and seminars here, as well as meetings with beneficiaries. A Public Organization of Veterans of Kazan will be also located in this building.

“It will not just be the “Good Kazan” headquarters, but a residence for existing and new charity foundations. All charity foundations will be under one roof – people will know exactly that they will receive support here. There is a good transport interchange here, a bus stop nearby, a densely populated area – excellent location for organizations”, - the Mayor of Kazan stressed during a visit to the building.

The facility with an area of about 500 sq.m will be occupied by three organizations. The “Good Kazan” co-working will be located in the left wing. Previously, the organization was located at an 8-sq.m office on Profsouznaya Street. “That space was not enough for us – we had to hold seminars or meetings with charity foundations at youth clubs or cultural centers. We always wanted to have our own office,”- Tatiana Merzlyakova, director of the ANO “Good Kazan”, told the Mayor.

Now “Good Kazan” cooperates with more than 100 charity organizations, about half of them do not have their own offices. A co-working area will be established for them. “We want to follow the example of Moscow and create a center where all non-profit and charity organizations can work together. Here their employees will work and implement their projects”, - Tatiana Merzlyakova noted. Parents of children with disabilities will also be able to work here. While the parents are busy, tutors and volunteers will look after the children. In addition, master classes and meetings of representatives of the volunteer community will be held at the site.

In a separate wing, it is planned to open a souvenir warehouse, a call center, a conference room, which can be used by members of the veteran organization.

A Public Organization of Veterans of Kazan will be located next to the “Good Kazan”. “New office will definitely help to promote our organization”, - Guzel Strekalova, chair of the organization, addressed the Mayor.

Ilsur Metshin noted that it is also planned to landscape adjacent territory and to develop a square next to the building. “It will be a new point of attraction for veterans, - the Mayor believes. - It is important for us that the organization is located in the city center, so that all veterans can visit it and get support here”.

The public reception office of the United Russia party will also be located in the building.

“All offices are comfortable and cozy, and we will definitely meet at a housewarming party”, - Ilsur Metshin concluded.
