The Directorate of Parks and Squares was established in
2017. “We can see the results of your work today. The scope of work done is
impressive. The Directorate has grown significantly in four years, now the main
task is to hold positions and move forward,”- the Mayor addressed the
employees.
To date, twenty-five employees work in the Directorate, the
average age of which is 28 years, said Robert Garipov, head of the Directorate.
The main areas of work of the Directorate include the
maintenance of parks and squares, the organization of services and cultural activities.

tasks are also expanding, - said R.Garipov. – In 2017, the directorate managed
16 parks with a total area of 178 hectares. This year, the number of parks has
increased to 25, and their total area has increased to 261 hectares”.

the organization of trade points in the parks. She reminded that in the new
summer season, it is planned to locate 73 trade points in 19 parks of Kazan.
Unauthorized trade points are still often found in parks, A.Latypova
added. The Mayor proposed to establish separate department on the basis of the Directorate,
which would constantly monitor the organization of trade in public spaces, and
instructed to work on this issue.

the technical support of parks, which includes service, cleaning, maintenance
of monuments, buildings and utilities.
