At a meeting of the local branch of United Russia party, chaired by I.Metshin, the tasks for 2021 were discussed

The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the secretary of the Kazan local branch of the United Russia party, chaired an online meeting of the political council in Kazan. It reviewed the results of the work in 2020 and the action plan for 2021.

The main political event of the year – the election of the State Duma deputies

As Ilsur Metshin noted, the past year has made serious adjustments to the usual lifestyle of citizens. The Mayor thanked the party activists, volunteers and deputies for supporting doctors and their families, retired people and all those in need.

The secretary of the local branch of the party called the main political event for this year- the election of State Duma deputies. “This is a significant event in the life of each of us – we do not just form the parliament, but choose a further strategy the development of the country”, - I.Metshin said.

According to the Mayor of Kazan, this year, thanks to the support of Tatarstan President and the Government of the republic, the city will continue to implement programs for the reconstruction and renovation of sports venues.

The head of the city also spoke about plans for improvement, in particular, the creation of a sustainable green framework, large parks in all districts of Kazan, renovation and landscaping of abandoned industrial zones.

The medical institutions of the city was provided assistance for 1.5 million rubles

Olga Voronova, Executive Secretary of the Kazan branch of United Russia, Deputy of the Tatarstan State Council, reported on the results of the implementation of party projects and planned activities for 2021.

Since the first days of the pandemic, the United Russia party has been involved in volunteer work, which continues today. Volunteers, party activists, and the deputy corps helped deliver food and medicines to people at risk, solved household issues, and provided assistance. Deputies and party members purchased and handed over to schoolchildren from poor families more than 200 pads for distance learning. During the campaign “Help Doctors”, the party members in Kazan, deputies of all levels handed over tens of thousands of medical masks, antiseptics to hospitals and polyclinics of the city, provided transport for driving doctors to their patients ' homes. In total, more than 1.5 million rubles were provided to medical institutions of the city.

During the meeting, the members of the political council approved a list of projects for 2021 and agreed on the work plan of the United Russia faction in the Kazan City Duma.
