I heartily congratulate you on the upcoming New Year!
The outgoing year, rich in significant events and milestones, has become a new interesting page in the history of our city.
In 2019, a large-scale work was carried out in Kazan with the support of the Federal and Republican governments, as well as with the participation of local residents: roads and residential buildings, yards and public spaces were renovated. We opened new schools and kindergartens, renovated teenage clubs and health centers. By joint efforts, we found the ways to solve important issues for our city, achieved our goals, and improved Kazan. As a result, the city has become even more comfortable and beautiful, and the living standards of citizens have been improved.
Successfully hosting the 45th WorldSkills championships in August, the capital of Tatarstan has set high standards for international events once again, the event undoubtedly increased the prestige of working professions. Participants from Kazan also contributed to the success of the Russian national team – they earned 1 silver, 1 bronze and 5 medallions for professionalism. Participants and guests of the championship took away a part of our hospitality and warmth, and Kazan became even more popular and recognizable.
People always want to predict what the upcoming year will be like. One thing is for sure: in the new year, the city will implement many plans and projects. We will continue to improve our beloved Kazan and create a friendly environment in every district. I am sure that the energy and commitment of citizens will serve as a guarantee that everything planned would be implemented.
