The strategic session of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives takes place in Kazan

(KZN.RU, August 6). Today, the first strategic session of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to promote new projects in Russian regions was held in the Kazan IT-park. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Svetlana Chupsheva, the general director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Natalia Fishman-Bekmambetova, an assistant to the President of the RT, heads of republican ministries attended the event.

“We see the growth potential of each region in the exchange of best practices”, said the head of the republic, opening the meeting. “We have been actively involved in the implementation of the initiative “Library of Smart Solutions “Smartek”. Our developments are also being taken to work in other regions”.

The President of the RT spoke about the republican experience, which was spread outside Tatarstan. In particular, among the best practices of the region, he mentioned the creation of single information space in the field of social protection of the population in the framework of the national project “Demography” and the improvement of public spaces for the national project “Housing”.

In addition, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded the republican support of small and medium-sized businesses. The Agency for State Procurement in the RT, the Unified Center for Lending, the “Factory of Entrepreneurship” and the Council on Entrepreneurship were mentioned among the best practices, according to the website of the President of the RT.

“The Agency (of strategic initiatives – ed.) provides tremendous support to all regions in improving the business climate and increasing investment potential. Of course, the benchmark for all regions is the results of the national rating. Thanks to it, the regions see their strengths and weaknesses, introduce best practices. This work is important and useful”, marked the President of the RT.

“Smartek” is a systemic initiative providing a single information space for the best development practices of the constituent entities of the RF. As a rule, it is regularly replenished.

A strategic session for the subjects of the Volga Federal District on the implementation of the system initiative “Library of Smart Solutions “Smartek” will be held on August 6 and 7 in Kazan. The event is aimed at discussing and exchanging best practices.
