The performance of the female fantasy jazz orchestra, a literary performance with the participation of artists of Kamal Tatar Academic Theater, as well as artists of the Tukay Academic Theater “Ilhamiyat”, who will perform Tatar folk songs and works based on the verses of the great the poet will take place there.

“On this day, sightseeing tours and thematic workshops will be held in the museum. The “Tukay Yuly” bike tour will start at Yunusovskaya Square for everyone. The tour will be held by appointment. Also at 12 pm, a walking tour “From Ekaterininskaya to Tukay Street” will take place telling a story about the history and sights of the street by professional guides”, said M. Usmanov.

Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, highly appreciated the idea of holding a street festival, calling it unexpected, but noteworthy. “I think we will not limit ourselves to Tukay Street. Interesting events should take place not only in the city center, not only on attractive tourist routes, but everywhere”, said the Mayor. He urged the heads of district administrations to take part personally in the upcoming holiday and generate new ideas.

Marat Usmanov also added that from June, the Water-Film project will begin work on the embankment of Kaban Lake and invited citizens to the events.
