(KZN.RU, February 26, Ksenia Shvetsova). The development of social infrastructure will continue in the residential complex “Salavat Kupere”. In the near future, the construction of new schools and kindergartens is planned in the residential complex as well as launching new public transport routes. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, announced this today at the meeting of the XXXII session of the Kazan City Duma.
Sergey Cherepanov, a deputy of the Kazan City Duma, addressed the Mayor with the question about the prospects of development of the residential complex “Salavat Kupere”. “The district is developing quite fast, but people have a lot of questions about the social infrastructure”, he said, adding that one of the most pressing issues is the transport infrastructure. Today, Gorkovskoe Highway is overloaded with automobiles. It is necessary to build a backup road, he noted and asked about infrastructure development plans for the near future.
The Mayor noted that the construction of housing in the RC “Salavat Kupere”, which is managed by the State Housing Fund under the President of the TR, allows Kazan residents to get affordable comfortable apartments. “We try not to be late on the creation of social infrastructure. On September 1, a school for 1224 places was opened with a swimming pool and gymnasiums. 2 kindergartens for 700 places have been built. Today, 3 more kindergartens are being built and another new school has been established, so we will solve the issue with education”, reminded I. Metshin. He added that the residential complex also has a police department and health care facilities.
Routes from the micro-district through Orgsintez and the Moskovsky district are organized with the funds allocated for the transport infrastructure development. “In general, we design the organization of public transport in this most important neighborhood. The work is underway”, said the Mayor.
Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, noted that the problem with road congestion is due to insufficient infrastructure development, and this problem will be solved in the future. “As for the “Salavat Kupere”, we also talk about this. People go to the center and then go back. We need to create conditions at the place of residence so that all services, all opportunities were available”, summarized the President of the RT.
