(KZN.RU, November 20, Mikhail Chentsov). The first gala
concert “Good Wave” will be held on November 30 in Kazan in the concert hall of
the Sports Academy. It will be recorded and will broadcast in the television
version on the air of the federal television channel NTV on the eve of the New
Year. Today, Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Kazan Executive
Committee, spoke about a joint project with the Academy of Popular Music of
Igor Krutoy and young Kazan citizens who will participate in it, at the
Business Monday. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that the festival has
the potential to grow into an international one.
According to the speaker, a new tradition, the idea of which
arose within the framework of the project “Good Kazan”, was made together with
the Academy of Popular Music of Igor Krutoy. Thanks to the festival, the
children will be able to fulfill their dream and enter the big stage
accompanied by eminent artists. “This year, the students of the Academy of Popular
Music of Igor Krutoy from Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Krasnodar,
Samara, Sochi, Yaroslavl, including the winners of the international
competitions “Children's New Wave” and “Junior Eurovision”, participate in the
project. Young Kazan citizens, children who achieved creative success, despite
the limited opportunities for health, will come on one stage with them”, said
D. Fattakhov.
Olesya and Anastasia Masheaiko are among the participants.
Olesya is visually impaired, Nastia has cerebral palsy. Despite the limitations
on health, girls lead an active creative life: they voice advertising on
television, participate in live broadcasts on radio stations. A member of the
“Good Wave” will also be Jamil Khamitov, he is a visually impaired. Since the
age of 8, he has been studying at a music school and has already achieved high
results. Jamil is a laureate of such international contests as “Step Towards”,
“The Crystal Heart of the World”, and “On the Wings of Talent”.
As noted by Damir Fattakhov, young talents will be supported
by Igor Krutoy, a People's Artist of Russia, Dina Garipova, the winner of the
show “The Voice”, and Alexander Oleshko, an actor and a TV host, will present
the gala concert. And this is not a complete list of stars that will enter the
“Good Wave” stage and become the project ambassadors for all forthcoming events
within the framework of the project.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, noted that the launch of
the “Good Wave” in the capital of Tatarstan is a recognition of the city's
achievements. “We are bonded by good, long-standing, friendly and partner
relations with the esteemed master Igor Krutoy, who created the Academy of
Popular Music and opened its branch in Kazan”, said the Mayor.
He also noted that the festival will be an excellent chance
to show that talented children have no limited opportunities, despite any
diagnoses. “This is a great inspiration for them to perform in the finals on
stage with celebrities, stars of our Russian stage, see ourselves on the
central channel during the New Year holidays as part of the project. Each child
has a talent so it is important to create conditions for its discovering”, said
I. Metshin.
The start of the project is scheduled for November 30. Spectators
of the gala concert in the sports academy will be talented children of Kazan,
their parents, and teachers, as well as wards of charitable funds.
