Sovetsky district’s administration, and others took part in the inspection

Today, 10
months after the start of construction, there are only the finishing works left
to the completion of the project.
Such works
as the installation of roof, windows and stained-glass windows, a ventilated
facade, bricklaying of partitions, external and internal walls, and plastering
have been fully completed. In addition, works on the arrangement of internal
engineering networks are almost completed. Construction of the gymnasium is
conducted at the expense of the federal and republican budgets.
Gazinur
Akhmetov, the general director of the contractor OOO “Ak Tash”, reported that
the accomplishment will be finished by the end of July. “The stages of the
final inspection begin from 15-20 of August”, he told the Mayor.
The
estimated capacity of the three-storey gymnasium is designed for 1224 students.
The total area of the building is 25.8 thousand square meters. The school has 4
units: catering, primary and senior classes, and a sports block, which includes
two swimming pools and two gyms.
Ilsur Metshin,
the Mayor of Kazan, positively assessed the progress of the work. “This is a
perfect project. There is everything to ensure that children will receive a
quality education. This is, of course, the school of the XXI century. We could
not even dream of starting such construction”, the Mayor shared his opinion.
Ildar
Sayakhov, the director of the new polylingual gymnasium, reported on the
compliance of the new school with all requirements to the head of the city. He
was chosen as the head of the school on the basis of competitive selection.
According
to him, the project of the gymnasium is, very modern indeed because it meets
all educational standards, including advanced study in different profiles.
“Equipment allows us to realize a wide range of educational services. It is
supposed that the school will work in one shift but with a very busy
after-school program in different directions: intellectual, creative, sportive,
and others”, he said.
I. Metshin
noted that the gymnasium should become not only the center of education but
also the center of extracurricular life. “The entire micro-district should use
this wonderful institution”, marked the head of the city.
In the
catering unit, the Mayor of Kazan addressed to G. Ananieva with a proposal to
decorate the dining room with a national Tatar ornament. “It is necessary that
upbringing, including national education, starts from the places where children
are present every day. They do not study in physics or chemistry classrooms
every day but the dining room gathers everyone”, said the Mayor.
There will
be no restrictions in the compilation of classes in the new polylingual
gymnasium. According to I. Sayakhov, the director of the school, there will be
classes with both in Tatar and in Russian languages of tuition. “The
compilation will take into account the wishes of the parents, as well as the
ability of children to learn a language”, he said.
Eight
parallels will open in the gymnasium in the academic year 2017-2018: from 1st
to 8th grades. There will be 5 classes in each of them except eight classes.
The school will recruit senior, graduating classes from the next academic year
after obtaining accreditation.
