The average salary for Aviastroitelny district is 30% higher than the average in Kazan

(KZN.RU, January 20). At the end of 2016, the average salary in the Aviastroitelny district of Kazan grew by 23.3% and amounted to 48.9 thousand rubles, in the Novo-Savinovsky district - by 8.1% and amounted to 31.4 thousand rubles. Timur Alibaev, the head of the Aviastroitelny and the Novo-Savinovsky districts administration, said this during the report to Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.

“The Aviastroitelny district confidently holds the leading position in terms of average salaries and is rightly called the industrial district of Kazan. The average salary in the city increased by 8.5% and amounted to 36.3 thousand rubles”, said the head of administration.

According to Timur Alibaev, despite the difficult economic situation, 18.6 billion rubles were invested in the development of the Aviastroitelny and the Novo-Savinovsky districts in 2016. Turnover of retail trade and catering grew, overhaul totaling 39 million rubles was made in 38 houses, 11 courtyards were landscaped, and road and driveways repair is progressing well, including residential areas. Such enterprises as the Kazan Aircraft Production Association named after Gorbunov, the KMPA, the Tatelectromontazh, the Bakery Plant and others have shown growth in the number of employees and the level of their salaries.

It was possible to prevent the growth of unemployment in the districts: the number of registered unemployed in the districts’ services decreased by 117 persons compared to the previous year, i.e., 8%. The number of unemployed amounted to 1,347 persons on January 1 (2015 - 1467 people). In total, 3749 unemployed people were employed last year in the Aviastroitelny and the Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan. Thus, the scope for further reductions in unemployment exists in the districts, marked Timur Alibaev.

The struggle with the “gray” labor market and salaries in the “envelopes” continued. The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection has set the goal for the municipalities: the conclusion of new contracts of employment and bringing salaries to the required level. According to Timur Alibaeva, the plan was exceeded by more than 68%. “During the year, 43 territorial commissions for “legalization of income” were carried out, including 12 raids on construction sites, markets, shopping malls and retail stores. Violations of 98 companies have been found. This work has increased the collection of physical persons income tax, directed to Kazan budget, to 1.4303 billion rubles, i.e., to 205.4 million rubles more than in the same period last year”, said the head of the administration.
