(KZN.RU, January 20). The first apartment building with solar panels will appear in Kazan. Timur Alibaev, the head of the Aviastroitelny and the Novo-Savinovsky districts administration, told this to Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, summing up the 2016 year.

He noted that the solar panels will be installed on the roof of a 9-storey residential building “Red Apple”, which is being built at the intersection of Lukin and Academician Pavlov streets in the Aviastroitelny district. The generated electricity will be used for lighting public spaces. Construction of the house began last year.

Speaking of housing, Timur Alibaev reported that 106.6 thousand square meters of housing (1510 apartments) were entered in the Aviastroitelny and the Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan in 2016. 6 houses of 42.8 thousand square meters, multi-level parking for 349 places and a kindergarten for 140 places was entered by the company “YIT Kazan”. At the end of the year the Executive Committee gave permission for commissioning of the house on the 437 apartments of the residential complex “Stolichny” first stage in the 70 quarter. According to the project, the complex includes three houses on 1.4 thousands of apartments, with underground parking and a kindergarten for 150 places.

This year it is planned to put into operation 12 apartment buildings with total area of 195.1 thousand square meters: 3 houses of 51.3 thousand square meters in the Aviastroitelny district and 9 houses of 144.3 thousand square meters in the Novo-Savinovsky district.

In 2017, the construction of one of two 10-storey buildings in the residential complex “Vzletnaya Polosa” (streets Lukin/Godovikov) will be completed. The OOO “Yashma” plans to complete the construction of 17-storey residential building of 12 thousand square meters on the Hakim Street. This construction was made possible thanks to the fact that the investor resettled 13 individual houses.

Another investor OOO “Sarmai” now settles three emergency houses. In general, as the head of the district administration explained in his speech, the problem of emergency houses is shifted from the dead point. Residents of two other emergency houses settled in a newly built house on Malaya Krylovka and in apartments, released during the inventory of the municipal housing stock. 10 houses are excluded from the list of emergency: there are major repairs to be made. 11-storey house of 120 apartments on the street Maksimov, 37b will be put into operation in November, in which it is planned to resettle the inhabitants of the houses №37 and 39 on the Maksimov street.
