Modern conditions have been created in the historic building for 140 trainees of the boxing school: the gym has been renovated, there are fitness and cardio zones with new equipment, as well as two locker rooms.
The Mayor appreciated the work of the builders and designers, noting that they had managed to harmoniously blend the elements of the historic building with modern design and functional equipment. “Before and after is like two different planets, not just heaven and hell. We saw modern design solutions, high-quality materials, and good lighting. The construction workers made a good job. The new school year is approaching, so you need to recruit more students so that our athletes can grow and develop,”- The Mayor noted.
The boxing club is located in a building built back in 1962, when the Trudovye Rezervy center was established. Later, in 1964 and 1967, other buildings were built.
Last year, the historic building was partly renovated – works on cladding the central façade were carried out, as well as replacing the roof of the boxing hall and heating units, strengthening the foundation and landscaping the territory.
The second stage of the renovation started on April 1 and ended on August 1.
