(KZN.RU,
November 10, Mikhail Chentsov). The first administrative-residential complex
(ARC) for local policeman opened today in Kazan in the Petrovsky village. Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, attended the opening. He praised the conditions
for work and leisure in the building, talked with the local policeman Sergei
Stepanov, who will work and live with his family here, and congratulated
present policemen on their professional holiday.
During the
inspection of the administrative building and a study of the district, the
Mayor of Kazan marked good and decent conditions in the complex, as well as how
important it is to have the person, to whom you can turn for help, in a place
of residence. “God grant, that it would not be necessary, the main thing is the
prevention. The presence of policeman here provides calm, confidence for people
and protection of public order”, said I. Metshin.
Sergei
Stepanov, the owner of a new administrative-residential complex, has been
working as local policeman in villages Petrovsky, Koyashly and part the Mirny
village for four years. About 3500 people live in the service area. Locals
appreciate their policeman for responsiveness and competence. Sergei Stepanov
has revealed 10 offenses and has made more than 100 reports on administrative
offenses for 10 months in 2016. He was awarded the medal “For Courage”. The
Stepanovs family has three minor children.
I. Metshin
noted that the policeman’s complex in the Petrovsky village is not the last
one, which will open this year in the capital of Tatarstan. “Six will be opened
just this year. I want to thank our President and the Minister of Internal
Affairs, with the filing of which this program operates in the republic and its
capital”, said the Mayor of Kazan. Similar complexes will appear in villages
Konstantinovka, Staroe Pobedilovo, Voznesenskoe, Kadyshevo and Vishnevka.
Financing of the ARC construction is carried out from the city and republican
budgets on the basis of 3.7 million rubles for one object and 22.2 million
rubles in total. In addition, 18.1 million rubles were allocated from the
budget for maintenance and landscaping of 6 Kazan administrative-residential
complexes of engineering infrastructure.
According
to the local policeman Sergei Stepanov, it is especially pleasing to receive
such a gift on the holiday. “I want to express my deep gratitude to the
leadership of Department of Internal Affairs, the Government of the Republic,
the Mayor of Kazan for they care about us, policemen. Now we will live directly
in the working area. Because of this, we will not have to travel far, and at
the same time we will be close to the people”, he said.
Traditionally
I. Metshin handed to Stepanovs family memorial gifts to housewarming and wished
good health and well-being for every member of the family. “I wish you that you
were healthy, that your wife and kids are always waiting for you at home for a
well-set table”, said the Mayor of the Tatatrstan’s capital.
At the
conclusion of the event I. Metshin again congratulated all employees of the
Interior of the RT on the professional holiday. “I want to congratulate the
personnel of our Kazan garrison. Protection of public order in the capital with
million population is a big challenge, and you deal with it honorably. Happy
holiday!” said the Mayor.
Andrei
Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts administration,
Alexei Sokolov, the head of the Russian Interior Ministry Office of Kazan, and
others also took part in the inspection.
