Ilsur Metshin: “Everyone is waiting for the school: parents, children, and we”

(KZN.RU, November 9, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the construction site of the new school for 1224 pupils on the street 2nd Azinskaya today. Putting the school into operation, which neighborhood residents are looking forward to, is scheduled for the beginning of next school year.

Local residents have repeatedly appealed to the Mayor with ask for the construction of the school in this district. Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetsky district administration, confirmed that the load on the neighboring school is large: studying is conducted in two shifts.

The new school is designed for 1224 students and will be released to full capacity by the 1 September 2017. An educational institution located in the 3-storey building with a basement. Total area is 25 800 square meters. The school will be divided into 4 blocks: a block of primary school, high school, sports unit, which will include two swimming pools and two gyms, and catering block.

“All the indicators are actually coordinated, construction is carrying out, funds have been allocated”, said Azat Nigmatzyanov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee.

School construction was started this year. The general contractor is the company “Fortex”, the contractor is the OOO “Ak-Tash”. For today, the foundation pit is dug, piles are hammered, grills and device monolithic frame is conducted. “We are on schedule, in normal mode”, reported Gazinur Akhmetov, the general director of the OOO “Ak-Tash”. Ilsur Metshin marked that it is important that the construction was carried out qualitatively. “Not only parents are thankful, but also heads of kindergartens, where construction was made by the “Ak-Tash”, said Mayor. “They build with love to children. I am glad that this contractor is here as well”.

Construction of secondary school is financed by the federal and republican budgets.

The Mayor advised to pay attention to candidates from the Sovetsky district, which know their traditions, when choosing a new headmaster.

“The district is large, important, and different:  there are individual houses and apartment, including ones under the social mortgage. We need to approach carefully to the choice of the headmaster”, said Ilsur Metshin.

“Despite the difficult situation, we introduce new schools every year. Thanks to the federal program and Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, for their support”, said Ilsur Metshin. “The number of children, enrolled in the second shift, is big. Everyone is waiting for the school: parents, children, and we”.
