(KZN.RU,
November 7, Mikhail Chentsov). The amount of accrued property taxes on
individuals for Kazan made in the current year to 2.3 billion rubles. Over 600
thousand citizens have to pay taxes up to December 1, 2016. Chulpan Gossamova,
the deputy head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the RT, reported today
at the Business Monday. Around 700 million rubles of property taxes from
individuals were received for the 10 months of 2016 in the city budget.
Ch.
Gossamova said that 8 billion rubles of tax payments came in Kazan budget by
November 1, which is 1% less than were collected in the same period last year.
The speaker explained that the decrease in revenues is due to the postponement
of the property taxes payment by individuals from October 1 to December 1. If
last year's mailing of tax notices to citizens took place in May-June, this
year the notifications were sent in September-October.
“For today,
the tax authorities completed the printing of tax notices. 90% tax notices of
the total number of printed were handed over to citizens by post offices”, said
Ch. Gossamova. For the first time this year, the tax notice arrives in
electronic form only for users of Internet service "Personal cabinet
taxpayer for individuals" on the website of the Federal Tax Service. “You
can see and pay for it through a personal account or any other conventional
method by printing tax notice by yourself”, said the speaker. She added that
the banks, working with the payments of individuals, are seamlessly coping with
a heavy workload.
Ch.
Gossamova reported yet another innovation. “There is one common notice to all
property in the territory of the Russian Federation this year”, she explained.
All objects, belonging to a citizen, shall be specified in a single
notification, which he will receive.
The deputy
head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia on RT told what to do to those
citizens who have not received a tax notice. “You need to make sure if the
notification does not come to the “Personal Account of the taxpayer for
individuals”. If the amount of tax for all owned property less than 100 rubles,
then a notification will not be received this year. The tax will be accounted
for in future periods. In all other cases, you should contact the tax authority
in person or through the website of FTS”, she explained.
Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, marked the need for timely and understandable
reports to citizens of information on the payment of property taxes. “Today
there is an opportunity to pay these taxes calmly, without nerves, not standing
in queues. It is important to give this information to Kazan citizens in a
timely manner”, said I. Metshin.
