Kazan will be festively decorated for the upcoming draw of the Confederations Cup 2017

(KZN.RU, November 7, Alsu Safina). Decorating of the city for the upcoming Confederations Cup draw, which will take place on November 26 in the Tennis Academy, will begin on November 14-15, said Azat Kadyrov, the general director of the Directorate of sports and social projects, at the today's Business Monday. The unified plan of design with outdoor advertising media and targeted program is approved; it is planned to install a small architectural form at the entrance to the city at the Orenburgsky tract. Work on decoration of the capital of Tatarstan for a welcoming of about 700 guests is planned to be completed by November 23.

“Decoration creates an atmosphere for the participants and for the citizens”, said Ilsur Metshin. “When we were in Turin at the Universiade for the first time, we saw that the city and the event were separate. It didn’t seem like you come into the city, where the holiday is carrying out”.

According to the Mayor, the draw for the Confederations Cup and the Cup itself are the most important events in preparation for the World Cup-2018. “We have already passed this road together, under the leadership of Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan. But each time it is necessary to mobilize out resources and work responsibly, organized and clear”, stressed Ilsur Metshin, adding that the event should be held at a high level. The general director of the Directorate of sports and social projects assured the Mayor that all the issues, concerning the organization of the draw, are resolved at working time.

Traffic limitation near the Tennis Academy in Kazan is expected on the day of the draw on November 26. Ilsur Metshin assured that it will not cause much trouble to citizens. “The current transport logistics makes it possible not to trouble Kazan citizens much. The main thing is that people must know in advance and choose the time and route”, said the Mayor about limitation.

The Department of Food and Social Supply of Kazan became one of the nutrition operators of the upcoming draw. According to Azat Kadyrov, the elements of the national cuisine will be included in all menus. “We were in the department and inspected the new equipment. The Department is prepared at the highest level”, said I. Metshin. “We visit different international events, and we were fed so delicious not everywhere”.
