The construction and renovation in the historic center were discussed in Kazan

The meeting of the interdepartmental working committee on construction and reconstruction of the historic center of Kazan took place in the Executive Committee of the city. 8 projects were discussed at the meeting of the commission, chaired by Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. Three sites have been approved on the basis of the commission's work, and another three needs to be finalized. They will be submitted to the President of the RT. The remaining two sites were rejected by members of the working group.

Svetlana Persova, the deputy Minister of Culture of Tatarstan, Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy head of the Kazan Ministry of Defense, Tatiana Prokofieva, the chief architect of Kazan, Nail Galeev, the head of the City planning permissions Office, Vladimir Fomin, the head of Architecture and Urban Planning, Marat Usmanov, the prefect of the territory “MKU Prefecture “Old town” of the Kazan Executive Committee ", Olesya Baltusova, the assistant of the President of the RT, and leading architects of the city took part in the committee meeting.

According to Tatyana Prokofieva, all objects have been previously discussed at the town-planning council. Non-residential building on the street Tukai, 62 is among approved facilities today. As noted by the chief architect of the city, the external change is not provided as part of the reconstruction of the administrative building, and the area will increase due to the mezzanine floors. Annexe to the building of the Prosecutor's Office of the RT (street Kremlin, 14) is also approved. Tatiana Prokofieva said that the project envisages compliance with all regulations.

Commission members approved a project proposal for the construction of a dwelling house with built-in parking on the street Volkov. As explained by the chief architect of Kazan, the developer “Stroygroup-M” is to build 5-7-storey building with underground parking on a plot. The developer proposed two options for building: modern and classic. Members of the commission have supported and approved the modern version.

Members of the commission have studied the project of building the hotel with underground parking on the street Ostrovsky, 27. The object is a long-term construction, for now this place is the skeleton of the building. It is necessary to complete the construction by the order of the President of Tatarstan. Farida Zabirova, the deputy chairman of the republican branch of All-Russian Society for Protection of Monuments, offered to “calm” the color and get away from the refinery white to the appearance of the building does not conflict with the old buildings. Svetlana Persova, the deputy Minister of Culture, invited “to think about the size of the windows”, which are much more in the project than in historic buildings. The decision to finalize the building facade was made at the meeting, after which the draft will be sent for approval to the President of the RT.

3 members of the working group requested additional information for further consideration on the proposed draft of the chapel in honor of Our Lady of Tikhvin (street Khudyakov, 18) and the project of reconstruction of the office building at the Admiralteiskaya Street.
