(KZN.RU,
September 13, Anton Nozdrin). The construction of sewage pumping station
“Zarechnaya”, scheduled for October this year, will not lead to the
introduction of additional tariff boards for the population. In addition, the
station is planned to be fully automated and fitted up with modern high-tech
pumping and filtration equipment, which will prevent pollution of air and
ground. Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee and
the chairman of the Housing and Communal Services, spoke about the preparations
for the construction of a main facility for the city today at a staff meeting
in the City Hall.
The first
phase of the construction of the SPS “Zarechnaya” will be carried out by the
MUP “Vodokanal” investment program. As I. Giniyatullin noted, the question of
amending the program is now regarded, and perhaps the separate fee for
connection to the grid will be installed. However, this is not reflected to the
tariffs for the population. “The first phase will provide reception and pumping
of wastewater with the prospect of the development of the zone beyond the river
over the next 3-4 years”, said the chairman of Housing Committee. The station
will be fitted up with modern high-tech pumping equipment. In addition, SPS
will be fully automated. In order to avoid a negative impact on the
environment, the station will be equipped with a filtration system and air
purification, the possibility of drains spout to the surface will be prevented.
According
to I. Giniyatullin, the construction of the SPS “Zarechnaya” is scheduled to
begin in October this year, and put it into operation in the third quarter of
2017. Moscow experience was studied, the terms of reference for the
installation of special caps and traps air is currently being prepared that
will solve the problem of odor from sewage treatment plants.
Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, said that solving the problem with the
pre-emergency object (SPS “Verhnyaya” works since 1973) was possible thanks to
the support of Rustam Minnikhanov. “We have been “locked up”, and not for one
year. In the end we found a solution, thanks to our President, our colleagues from
the Government of the RT, the Ministry and the Tariff Committee. We all worked
together very well and found a solution in time. Yes, the construction is
divided into stages, but in the foreseeable future we will implement something
that was long sought, without stopping any of the construction sites.
Construction of the SPS “Zarechnaya” in Kazan is a fateful decision for urban
infrastructure, which applies not only to the possibility of the current
drainage capacity in all districts, but also the emergence of new investment
areas”, said the Mayor.
