The multipurpose sports ground opened in the Kazan neighborhood Azino-1

(KZN.RU, 31 August, Alsu Safina). The multipurpose sports ground opened today in the neighborhood Azino-1 in Kazan. Modern-equipped sports facility, built on the territory of secondary school №171 on the Vagapov street, will be available not only for students but also for the more than 5.5 thousand residents of the neighborhood. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, congratulated everyone, who came to the sports holiday, with the long-awaited event and the new school year.

The multipurpose sports ground built as part of the republican target program. The new facility includes a playground for mini-football, volleyball, basketball, and outdoor fitness equipment purchased and installed. Works were performed by the contractor OOO “Construction and Consulting”. The jogging track around the perimeter of the field and the hopping pit is equipped, as well as walking paths to sites for mini-football, volleyball, basketball fulfilled, the playground for badminton equipped with extrabudgetary funds.

More than 1200 students enrolled in the school №171. Raniya Galiakberova, the director of the school, said that football, mini-football, basketball, volleyball, national struggle kuresh, aikido, and badminton clubs work here. “One hour of physical education in our lesson stands out for badminton in grades 5-8”, said Raniya Galiakberova. According to her, about 600 students attend sports clubs. The school has two gyms and dance hall. “We have been waiting for this sports ground and dreamed about it”, added the director of the school.

“Tomorrow schools of the city open their doors for 14,500 first-graders, who first crossed the threshold of the school”, said the Mayor of Kazan at the opening of a sports ground. “We are pleased that such a core sport appeared in your neighborhood because of the presidential program for the construction of sports grounds”.

The hockey box was previously installed in the school №174 on the H. Bigichev Street, where students also will be engaged in the new sports ground.

Raniya Galiakberova, the director of the school №171, expressed appreciation to the Mayor, the head of the district and to all those, who took an active part in the construction of the sports ground. “We promise to grow the Champions!”, she added.

The Mayor of Kazan inspected the new universal platform and talked with the children, who play football, handball and engaged in other sports. The competition among also family teams took place here today. “Thank you for such a nice sports ground!” parents-participating of competition thanked the Mayor. “You show a good example to children”, said the Mayor.

Signing in sports clubs in the Sports schools “Olymp”, “Ak Bure”, “Leader”, “Miras” was held at the school territory today. Specialists of schools presented a variety of sports and told about the achievements of their pupils.

Republican program for the construction of multipurpose sports grounds realized in Kazan since 2013. 18 sports grounds appeared in Tatarstan last year, 27 sports grounds were built this year.

Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee, Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetskiy district administration, Ilsur Hadiullin, the head of the Education Department, Svetlana Vostrikova, the chairman of the Physical Culture and Sports Committee, Irshat Minkin, the deputy general director of the “Kazmetrostroy”, Guzyal Miftahova, the director of secondary works №174, and others participated in the opening of the sports ground at the school №171.
