(KZN.RU, August 29). Each first-grader in Kazan will
receive a “Diary of good deeds” in his first school day. “Every year we try to
make a memorable 1 September for children, their parents and grandparents. And
especially for the first-graders, who cross the threshold of the school to the
world of knowledge for the first time. This is a great event”, said Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, at the Business Monday. “This year we decided to
give them a “Diary of good deeds” because the place of good deeds and thoughts
should be on a daily basis”.
There are small stories, proverbs about kindness in
the diary; examples of good deeds can be found in the pictures on the diary
fields. First-graders will be able to write everyday in a diary what good deeds
they have done, and stick the book icons to the relevant pages. Share your good
works, put pictures and stories and find like-minded people are possible on the
Internet portal www.dnevnikdobryhdel.rf.
The Mayor reminded that one of the 12 RT capital
development priorities for the next five years is designated as “Kazan - the
city of good deeds”. “We wanted to ensure that children, which are not only
educated but educating us in many ways, will grow good, responsive and
attentive to everything that is going on around them”, said Ilsur Metshin.
The “Good Week” will be held from 5 to 10 September in
Kazan, and end with the fair of good. It is expected that school students take
an active part in the events.
Ilsur Hadiullin, the head of Education Department,
said at today's Business Monday that about 2,000 first-graders have received
school bags under the charity event “Pomogi sobratsya v schkolu” for the new
academic year, with the personal participation of heads of district
administrations, deputies of the Tatarstan State Council and the Kazan City
Duma, business leaders and organizations. Presentation of school bags was held
since August.
More than 115 thousand citizens of Kazan will be studying
in the new academic year in the schools of the city, of which more than 14
thousand are first-graders.
