The renewed yard on the Kulahmetov Street has become the venue for the competition “People’s karaoke”

(KZN.RU, 24 August). This year program of yard territories overhaul ends in Kazan. Currently, work on the repair of asphalt concrete pavement completed in 205 yards out of the 234 scheduled for improvement. The yard, adjacent to the house №25 on Kulakhmetov Street in the Moskovskiy district, is among them. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, estimated results of capital repairs along with the townspeople and looked at the performance of the participants of the "People’s Karaoke" contest today.

A multifunctional playground with activities areas for adults and children appeared in the yard, an asphalt concrete pavement repaired, a small architectural set, and a children's playground, which includes swings, sandboxes, a rocker and a labyrinth installed through the overhaul program. The new parking spaces created for the convenience of residents with vehicles.

The complex of yards, which hosted the overhaul, includes seven houses built in years 1957-1982 - Kulahmetov Street, 25/1, 25/2, Okolnaya Street, 94/2, 94/1, 94a / 2, 94a / 1, 17b where about 1800 people live. At present, works on the improvement of all seven yards of the complex are fully implemented. Area repair was 11074 square meters, and the cost of work on complex improvement of facilities was 23.23 million rubles.

The renewed yard held the next stage of the “People's karaoke” the “Voice of our team, the voice of our yard”. The contest was organized on the initiative of Yana Barieva, hereditary residents of the Moskovskiy district. Everyone will be able to demonstrate their vocal talents in the “People's karaoke”. The Mayor visited the site of the competition and listened to inhabitants’ performances. Ilsur Metshin noted that he was glad to see the initiative and calling for hometown of residents. “Our city is changing for the better thanks to people like Yana, thanks to the district authorities and contractors, who literally changed this yard beyond recognition in three months”, said the Mayor.

The main prize of the musical competition is a permit on vacation for the whole family. Anyone can take part in the yard karaoke, submitting the application, despite the fact that the competition focuses mainly on the residents of the Kirovskiy and Moskovskiy districts. Registration for the contest is open until August 26 - on the time of the qualifying stages. Final competition will be held on August 30 on the grand opening of the Uritsky Park after reconstruction.

Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy head of the Executive Committee and the chairman of the Committee of Improvements, Sergei Mironov, the head of the Kirovskiy and Moskovskiy districts administration, and representatives of contractor visited the renewed yard and the competition “The Voice of our team, the voice of our yard” with the Mayor.

Improvement works of 49 yards planned this year in Kazan. For now complex landscaping is carried out in 5 yards on Lavrentiev Street, 20, 22, Prospect Pobedy, 56, 58, 60, Academic Zavoisky street, 16, 18, 20, Kulahmetov Street 25, and Zur Uram Street, 8, 10. Complete landscaping includes paving, installation of sports equipment, individual game elements (swings, slides, and houses), small architectural forms, benches, urns, and flower beds. Sport and play areas will be equipped with modern safe rubberized coating.
