The Mayor of Kazan got acquainted with the results of a major renovation in the house №154 on the Dekabristov Str.
(KZN.RU, August 18, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the renovated house №154 on the Dekabristov Str. The central heating system, cold water supply, sewerage, electricity supply have been replaced, the repair of the basement, roofs and porches were held, and entrance was originally decorated in a chalet style here. In addition, bicycle parking appeared at the entrance.
It is like a new life began at the 5-storey building, which was built in 1964, after a comprehensive renovation. Residents of the house and the Mayor assured that the house cannot be recognized on the previous photos. Guests immediately drew attention to the unusual design of the entrances, decorated with flowers. “Design solutions were used here, they did not just painted it”, noted Ilsur Metshin. “Everything is made with love”, said to the tenants. According to them, now they have become the envy of residents in other houses, where major repairs have not yet reached. The Mayor’s provocative question about what the contractor has not done, put them in a deadlock. “It all’s been done”, confirmed tenants.
“We have repaired 2,026 homes since the beginning of the program. For 8 years we have repaired 40% of the total housing fund of Kazan, which was in need of major repairs”, said the Mayor of Kazan. “The amount of those, who are envy of you, becomes less and less. And soon we will come to the rest”.
“I am glad that you have no complaints. I was here recently, at spring. Summer is not over yet, and repairs have already been made”, said Ilsur Metshin and thanked Andrei Zakamskiy, the director of contractor company OOO “Progress”, for the work.
