Ilsur Metshin topped the July rating of capitals’ heads of the VFD by the version of “Medialogia”
(KZN.RU, August 18). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, won the first place in the media-rating of information-analytical system “Medialogia” among the capitals’ heads of the Volga Federal District subjects for July 2016.
Media-index of Ilsur Metshin made 2057.69 points, according to the analysis of federal and regional mass media. Media mentioned that Ilsur Metshin named the winner of the contest for selection of design bureau at the Kazan City Hall, who will be charged to create a unique corporate identity for the City Zoological and Botanical Garden. He also familiarized himself with the work on the improvement of recreational areas of the city. In addition, the media reported that Ilsur Metshin will represent the interests of the Russian Federation in the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in 2016-2020.
Oleg Fursov, the head of Samara, is in the second place of media-rating (1324.26 points), on the third place - Oleg Grishchenko, the Mayor of Saratov (838.51 points).
The rating is based on the media base "Medialogia" system, consisting of more than 31,800 of the most influential sources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, news agencies, and online media. The Mayor of Kazan has repeatedly led the monthly media-rating of the first capitals’ persons of the VFD subjects.
