Ilsur Metshin announced selection for positions of Chairman of the Tourism Promotion Committee and Head of the Department of Culture

(Kazan City KZN.RU, June 27, Kseniya Shvetsova). Airat Faizov was elected as a Chairman of the Committee on affairs of children and youth of Kazan. Mayor of Tatarstan capital Ilsur Metshin summed the results of the selection, which started on May 11, at today's Business Monday. He thanked all those who participated in the struggle for the post. The Mayor announced 2 more selections: for positions of Chairman of the Tourism Promotion Committee and Head of the Department of Culture and invited all young and active residents of the capital of Tatarstan to attend it.

Recall, May 11 conditions for selection, as well as the requirements for the candidates and the online application form, which had to be filled by wishing to participate in the selection of candidates, were published at the official website of the Mayor’s Office kzn.ru and a specially created section kddm.kzn.ru. Applications for participation came from 91 applicants, the oldest of who was 57 years old, and the youngest - 21 years old. Moreover, as noted by the Mayor, 50 people sent applications to participate in the contest at the first week after the announcement.

Work on the selection of participants took place in several stages, it included a personnel audit, testing, 15 candidates were admitted on stage interviews with the head of the Executive Committee. At the final stage of the competition participants presented their vision of the Strategy-2030 development in the field of youth policy to representatives of youth organizations. I. Metshin stressed that this was one of the decisive stages of the selection - the applicants presented their ideas not only to employees of the Executive Committee, but to those who are the vanguard of the youth of the city and knows all the intricacies of the work from the inside.

6 candidates: acting Chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth of Kazan Irina Bochkova, Deputy Chairman of the Land and Property Relations Robert Zakirov, businessman Vitaly Pokrovsky, social activist Rosaliya Sahabutdinova, a businessman Marat Urazaev and deputy chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs Airat Faizov came at the final stage, in which the applicants presented their projects to the Mayor of the city. "For me it was the discovery that we have so many bright, young leaders who are willing to take such a responsible job, - I. Metshin said. - It is important that people go to this competition not for position, salary, but with a desire to lead the youth policy of the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, bringing their unusual and interesting ideas".

As a result of the selection former deputy chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs Airat Faizov got the position. "There are no those who lost in the competition, we have agreed with the head of the Executive Committee and with the personnel department that the potential of all candidates will be used, they will be able to express themselves in other ways in the structure of the Executive Committee - I. Metshin said. - I want to thank all candidates for their participation, for their ideas, creativity, desire to change the city for the better and to be leaders in their respective fields".

The Mayor called active citizens to continue to share their ideas and take part in two new selections: for positions of Chairman of the Development Assistance Committee of Tourism and Head of the Department of Culture. "Encouraged by this active participation of residents in the competition and by so many talented, bright, young leaders, we have decided to continue this practice. I hope this will become a tradition for us. I want to invite our colleagues and the new comers, the young leaders in the field of culture and tourism to participate in the competitions. Both areas are very interesting, and we will be happy to hear new ideas, new vision in the development of these important sectors of our city economy", - the Mayor said.
