(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 27, Irina Smirnova). Residents of the small village "Science Park" will be able to consider themselves citizens of Kazan by the end of this year. This opinion was stated by Mayor of Tatarstan's capital Ilsur Metshin today in the "Theme" on TV "Ether".
The question of when the town will become a part of Kazan was asked by one of the viewers - a resident of the village Alexander Kulikov. Ilsur Metshin reminded that "Science Park" is a part of Vysokogorsky region of Tatarstan. However, the question of its inclusion in Kazan border is really being considered.
For example, in October last year, public hearing on the inclusion of the territory of "Science City" in Kazan border was held. The hearing supported the idea. The next step was the approval of the decision by the Kazan City Duma at session on October 28, 2015. The last word is up to the State Council of the Republic, which must change the borders by law. After the official publication of the Law "Science Park" will be a part of Kazan. According to I. Metshin, it could happen by the end of this year.
