I. Metshin: "We will systematically work to populate every house"

(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 27, Irina Smirnova). Potential participants of shared construction should beware of dubious companies and developers, which use various "gray" schemes in contracting. This opinion was expressed Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin today during the program "Theme" on TV "Ether".

The problem of participants of shared construction, who still cannot enter into their apartments, has become one of the issues of today's program. The Mayor spoke about how this problem is being solved. He said that 78 of 82 troubled houses, standing on the interdepartmental commission control since 2007, were commissioned with the support of the city government. Another house – at st.Chetaev - is in a high degree of readiness.

However, despite the great explanatory work, the publication of lists of unscrupulous developers, there was a new round of stories with the defrauded real estate investors. Houses of "Fon" and "Svey" joined the list of companies. "The problem is very serious, it was accumulated more than one day, but over the years. But it emerged last year, when these developers - once active companies admitted their insolvency", - I. Metshin said.

The Mayor appealed to potential participants of shared construction. "Before you invest your money, look closely at the developer, if all the documents are in order," - I. Metshin warned. He also added that the Management of housing policy has more than 170 houses on control currently. "We clearly know the situation of each house. Before you give your money, enter into some dubious contracts, please contact the municipal authorities, the Executive Committee, we will consult you for sure", - the Mayor said.

Ilsur Metshin also said that meetings on the problems of shareholders are held in the regular mode, as well as visits to buildings. The Mayor stressed that law enforcement authorities are now working to find developers assets, find out where are the money of holders. "It is clear, that if people turned out to be in this situation, it is our duty, my duty as the Mayor - to be with them and address these issues, as we have decided problems of shareholders of 78 houses already. There is no one decision, unfortunately. But we will look for a solution and work systematically to populate every house", - I. Metshin said.
