In 2015 almost 2 thousand Kazan families have chosen apartments on social mortgage program

(Kazan City KZN.RU, February 26, Zilya Gayfi). Last year in Kazan 1879 families make a choice of apartments under the program of social mortgage. In total, since 2005, more than 23 thousand families - employees of enterprises and budget organizations have improved their living conditions. The results of the implementation of this and other housing programs adopted at the federal, republican and municipal levels, was summed up today at the V session of the Kazan City Duma with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

Program of social mortgage, working for 11 years, is the most important and successfully implemented in Kazan. There remains the issue of resettlement of emergency housing. Housing for war veterans, recognized in need of housing, is ongoing. Last year large families with more than five children and orphans got the opportunity to improve their living conditions. Another important program is the "Citizens Housing in 2007-2027 years".

Work to monitor the shared housing is continuing. 6 buildings of the 82 buildings, included in the number of problem objects in 2007, are remaining on the stage of completion, 2 of which are getting ready to put into operation. "When we started this work, it seemed that the problem is very heavy. There were 82 troubled houses in Kazan, tens of thousands of defrauded investors. When 76 houses from this huge list were settled, it was thought that the problem is over. However, it has become topical again. Some developers cut a piece that could not swallow. Someone started construction without city-planning permits, someone - on the “gray” schemes. Interest holders are not to blame; it is our responsibility to seek solutions to problems. Once again, we rose to the challenge with two unknowns - where to get money to complete construction, and when the interest holders will celebrate the new home", - the Mayor of Kazan said.

According to the head of capital of Tatarstan, together with representatives of the Government of Tatarstan a project "roadmap" was developed, which envisages the removal of encumbrances in the form of collateral and the realization of assets unscrupulous developers. "We agreed with the holders of regular meetings directly on construction sites and in the Executive Committee. This approach will allow entering two houses in the complexes "MES" and "Symphony" and will move the situation forward. As a result, at one of the meetings it became clear that real estate investors avoid applying to the Prosecutor's Office and the Investigative Committee for some reason. I am sure that our active cooperation with real estate investors, the investigating authorities, colleagues from the Government will help to identify hidden assets and begin to solve,"- the Mayor of Kazan said.

Rustam Minnikhanov outlined the need to address the problem. Head of the republic noted that urban authorities need to release tension, which was created by the companies "Sway" and "Fon". "You, Ilsur Raisovich, must be personally engaged in this problem", - the President stressed.
