I. Metshin: "We have something to say to voters, the volume made allows us to walk with confidence"

Today at the enlarged session of the political council of the local branch of the party "United Russia" the results of XV Congress of the Party in Moscow were analyzed, targets for the period 2016 election campaign were set and a local campaign headquarters were created. According to the Secretary of the local branch of the party, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Kazan branch of the party has something to share with voters: despite the difficult economic situation in the capital none of the planned programs was curtailed.

In a single day of voting on 18 September 2016 elections in the Russian State Duma deputies, heads of subjects of the Federation and deputies of legislative bodies of state power in the 38 regions of the country will be held. Preparations for the campaign were discussed at the XV Congress of the All-Russian political party "United Russia" on February 5-6 in Moscow, where Ilsur Metshin participated as a delegate from Tatarstan. Recall, at the Congress the Mayor of Kazan has been elected to the General Council of "United Russia", which has become a landmark event for the city - there is no local branch of the country's entities in the party supreme council.

Reporting on the work of the Congress, Ilsur Metshin noted that a frank conversation of the head of the party with representatives of regional and local offices took place in Moscow. "Party will participate in the election campaign not for the first time. We begin this work in the difficult economic and political conditions. Dual responsibility is imposed on us, it is important that the ruling party not only will hold the campaign but also cope with all challenges successfully. A frank conversation took place at the Congress, which the party leader, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev led. All ministers, representatives of all social strata of the population - farmers, teachers, businessmen, and bankers attended it. Honest answers were given to all of them. It has been said that we need to tighten up our science, industry, agriculture - and all this is possible only by joint efforts of the party and its voters", - the Mayor said.

According to the head of the city, the Kazan branch of the party has something to share with the voters. "We have to reach every voter, to find answers all questions and for each case. Difficult 2015 is behind our shoulders. Thanks to the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Government and the State Council of the republic all promises were fulfilled. The volume made allows us to walk confidently. Yes, we notice a drop in real incomes, but we can honestly say that we will do everything possible to accelerate out of the situation. Tatarstan team works more efficiently than in the neighboring regions. Even 20 years ago we could not even dream that will catch up in terms of production and agriculture with Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Bashkortostan. Today we are among the leaders", - the head of the city said.

Ilsur Metshin drew attention to the key indicators of the capital of Tatarstan. For example, Kazan is still in the lead in the number of commissioned housing, including social mortgage program, which has no analogues in the country. And Kazan residents, according to a survey of the Center for Strategic Research company "Rosgosstrakh", conducted in December 2015, showed the highest level in the Russian economic confidence - 70% of the citizens of the capital of Tatarstan are assured in their future.

Ilsur Metshin urged to join forces and to tune in to a large, creative work. "The elections are ahead, and we must win. The team, headed by the President of the country, was in crises and knows the situation. We will fight for the vast majority in the State Duma, to make laws and represent the interests of our constituents; our party must be the foundation of all transformations. The motto is one - we must do everything to ensure that the country continue its development, so that our citizens have confidence in the future", - the Mayor said. In conclusion, Ilsur Metshin handed membership cards to new members of "United Russia".

The event in NCC "Kazan" was held with the participation of deputies of Kazan City Duma, secretaries of primary branches and members of the local political council.
