Ilsur Metshin met with the staff of Russian Student Spring-2016

(Kazan City KZN.RU, February 12, Zilya Gayfi). From 15 to 20 May XXIV All-Russian festival "Russian Student Spring" will be held in Kazan. On the eve of the republican stage Mayor Ilsur Metshin met with the organizing committee and participants of the festival in Kazan Gaydar youth center. They told the head of the capital of Tatarstan, how preparation for a large-scale youth forum is going.

Overhaul is nearly completed in Kazan Gaydar youth center these days, it began in May last year. After repairs more than 800 people will be able to study in a building constructed in 1936 - for them 20 teams and art groups are formed.

Due to repair students have the opportunity to prepare for the "Student Spring" in new light and airy rooms today: choreography and aerobics classes were renovated, free spaces to work as well as study groups for pre-school classes, new bathrooms were equipped. According to the program "Available environment" a ramp entrance was installed in the youth center and sanitary room were equipped. In parallel, repair of the facade and decoration of the auditoriums are on go.

In Gaydar youth center Ilsur Metshin talked with the organizing committee and directly with the participants of the festival. According to the chairman of the jury Michael Volkonadsky, format of the event remains unchanged for several years: students prepare creative numbers, showing off their talents in dance, music and acting. Recall at the last year's festival, which was held in Vladivostok, Tatarstan's student team won the Grand Prix of "Russian Student Spring-2015", so that Kazan won the right to take the All-Russian forum in 2016. "Thanks to these guys "Student Spring" will arrive to Kazan. They will create, and we hope that they will create something good", - Mikhail Volkonadsky said.

Ilsur Metshin pointed out in conversation with the students that leadership of the city of Kazan and the republic pays special attention to the development of the youth movement. The long-awaited overhaul of the Gaydar center helps the development of creative abilities of the young men. "Thanks to the attention of the President of Tatarstan, colleagues from the Ministry and the Committee for Children and Youth, Kazan youth has an opportunity to develop talents. Gaydar youth center is 80 years old. Many talented young people come out of these walls. It is important that these walls were seething with life, children learn and develop their skills here, "- the Mayor said.

The Mayor wished success to the participants of "Student Spring" festival. "I wish you to win not only the festival, but to score small victories every day in your lives. Our most important potential is our people. Tomorrow's day of our city is for young people. Times are tough, but this is a time of opportunity, you live in a city that allows you to be on the crest of a wave with a worldwide youth movement. I believe what you will make tomorrow of Kazan better", - the Mayor said.

The students thanked the head of the city for the warm words and presented statuette "Student Spring" to the Mayor, and invited to the regional program of the Russian festival. Ilsur Metshin in turn handed over guitar to pupils of Gaydar youth center, with which the winner of last year's "Student Spring", winner of the Grand Prix in the nomination "Author's song" Robert Murtazin sang a song of his own composition.

During the meeting, the Mayor was accompanied by the deputy head of the Executive Committee on Social Affairs Natalia Grechannikova, chairman of the Committee on affairs of children and young people Sergei Mironov, the director of the Kazan Gaydar youth center Irina Aleshina.
