(Kazan City KZN.RU, February 10). Work on the Strategy of development of the city until 2030 started in Kazan. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin called the residents of the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan to take part in the development in a video message. Best of the proposed by Kazan residents ideas will form the basis of the Strategy - a policy document that will determine the future of the city.

"Dear Kazan residents!

Today work on the Strategy of development of Kazan up to 2030 year begins in the city. Very much will depend of this document.

Strategy is a sketch of the future. We need to define together what the future should look like. This is exactly the case when dreams come true, if there will be much work for their execution. Therefore, let us strive to where we want to be, not to where we can get.

Previous city strategy was developed at the beginning of the two thousandth years. Much of what seemed almost unattainable then, today has become a familiar and taken for granted. Road interchanges, electronic services, public spaces, sports and world-class cultural events. Today is the time to set new beacons, new goals.

I appeal to all active citizens, and above all - to young people. There are a lot of smart and creative people who are able to feel and to defend public interests in our city. There is no field full of money under Kazan. The main competitive advantage of the city is your our ideas, knowledge and energy.

How Kazan should be developed? What and how should we do to make it comfortable to all - regardless of age and income level? How to ensure that everyone can be realized, and no one felt lonely and useless? What should be our priorities and benchmarks - in the economy, the urban environment and the development of human capital?
