Over the past year the number of appeals regarding the construction of facilities in the city from citizens has risen from 2 to 3.5 thousand. This was told to the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at a meeting of theExecutive Committee, dedicated to results in the construction of the year.

According to the head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning Vladimir Fomin, the number of appeals from citizens and legal entities is increasing for the past 5 years. The number of appeals to the Commission on Land Use and Development and the number of applications for urban plans of land increased. Among the applicants procedure of redistribution of land, allowing revising the boundaries of land owned, is very popular. In 2015 more than 1,200 appeals has been received for this procedure.

Work on the provision of service of addressing is also successful. So in 2015 over 2686 orders on assigning addresses were prepared, 82 decisions on changes in the Register of the streets of Kazan were adopted, 75 streets were named.

According to Vladimir Fomin, work to reduce administrative barriers continues, so the number of applies of citizens on various issues is increasing.

During the meeting, the results of the Department of the overhaul were also reported to the Mayor of Kazan. According to the Director Rais Karimov, last year a lot of work to overhaul social facilities was carried out. The network of heat and water supply in the youth sports club "Motor" was laid, in addition to overhaul surrounding areas of youth clubs "Alga", "Box", "Koyash Nury," "Sneakers," "Start" and the House of Culture "Polymer" were landscaped.

In 2015 construction of residential houses on the program "Development of rental housing" and "Moving from emergency housing" was continued. Residential houses №14 on 44 apartments at at.Zhurnalists, house №25 on 123 apartments at st.Aydarov and house №17 on 123 apartments on Gorky Highway were populated. In total, according to the Department of State Statistics in Kazan, in 2015, 762.039 thousand sq. m of housing were commissioned, including multi-storey houses on 588.385 thousand sq. m and individual residential development in the area of ​​173.654 thousand sq. m.

As Rais Karimov told, this year it is planned to conclude a contract for the construction of a residential building on 60 apartments at st.Spartakovskaya. Commissioning of four apartment buildings on 88 apartments at st. M.Gafuri, child health clinics at st. Kolymskaya, 15 is provided. Also major repairs of the building of registry office of Kirovsky district (st.Bolotnikova, 35a), the building of detox department (at.Golubyatnikov,3) and the redevelopment of a former clinic №4 at stl.Delovaya for 2 apartments for health workers will be carried out. This year 27 playgrounds will be built in Kazan, the construction of school at st. 2th Azinskaya is planned to start.

Ilsur Metshin noted the huge amount of executed works in the past year. "The work was built in such a way that nobody should be harried. There is an inner self-control, which is based on professionalism and responsible attitude. The main thing is the result - it is visible by the number of renovated public facilities, the number of volumes of overhauled housing, the number of incoming appeals.
