7 projects of planning of development areas were approved in 2015 in Kazan

(Kazan City KZN.RU, January 29, Zilya Gayfi). In 2015 in Kazan 7 projects of planning were approved, which are essential for the comprehensive development of territories. This the chief architect of the city Tatiana Prokofieva told to the Mayor Ilsur Metshin in the report on the outcome of the previous year.

In total since 2008 in Kazan 32 projects of planning were approved, which is 2.5 times more than in the previous 50 years. Last year work on the projects of building of territories “Yudino”, "Center", "Salavat Cupere", "Volga expanses", "Station Yubileynaya", "Ametevo" and “st.Gvardeyskaya” was completed. The entire necessary social infrastructure is provided in areas - kindergartens, schools, hospitals, law enforcement points, public service facilities, recreational areas. As noted by Tatyana Prokofieva, project development planning is aimed at regulating of land use, improvement of the transport situation, the city engineering protection, upgrading of physical infrastructure in the areas and the city as a whole.

For example, the draft plan "Center" solves the problem of the formation of the attractive appearance of the urban environment in the historical center with high quality landscaping, the creation of multi-functional urban environment while maintaining the unique features of the urban landscape, valuable historical sites. It provides creation of tourist zones, as well as more efficient use of the territory of the historic city center by increasing the share of public areas, residential and recreational purposes by reducing the land occupied by the communal storage facilities and special areas of restricted access and surplus markets. Increase of places in kindergartens in two times, building of housing, development of the existing road network and reconstruction of engineering infrastructure are also planned.

As for the "Yudino", here the creation of a developed transport infrastructure, reconstruction and expansion of existing roads and construction of new highways of citywide importance, linking Yudino with other residential and industrial areas of the city are the priority areas of the territory. More efficient use of existing residential areas by selective reconstruction and new construction of houses on the program of social mortgage on the site of the demolished old and dilapidated housing are also planned. As a result of large-scale housing construction increase in population is expected in the area significantly - more than 2 times. Formation of a new residential area with access to the Volga river embankment is also planned, which will become part of continuous recreational framework of the city.

Currently 30 projects of planning are being developed in Kazan. In 2016 it is planned to approve projects "Kazan zoological and botanic garden", "Admiralty Sloboda", "Sultan Ay", "Right bank of Kazanka", "Noksinsky descent", "Mamadyshsky tract", "Forest Glade", "Vertilevka", "Street Lebedev", "Portovaya, Zaitsev, Mekhovshikov", "Abu Dhabi", "North Chebaksa", "Cherry Lane", "R.Zorge, Gvardeyskaya, A.Kutuy", "St.Gavrilov, st.Lavrentev, ave.Yamashev". Also, due to the municipality budget this year projects of planning "Igumnovo", "North", "Portovaya" will be developed.

Summary:

From 1962 to 1995, 13 projects of detailed planning of territories of Kazan were developed and approved.

From 1995 to 2008 planning documents of territories Kazan has not been developed. This is due to the fact that the funding for these purposes was not allocated.
