9.7 thousand residents’ problems were solved thanks to the "People's Control"

(Kazan City KZN.RU, January 25). In 2015, 24% requests more than a year earlier were received in the "People's Control". The share of Kazan against Tatarstan decreases, while the number of solved applications for the year increased by 5%. The head of the Department of monitoring and anti-corruption work Elena Toscheva told about the outcome of the service at today's Business Monday.

The greatest number of complaints concerned the landscaping, the proportion of notifications of traffic decreased. "The number of unresolved notifications for the year increased by 5% and amounted to 69%," - continued E.Toscheva. According to her, at this indicator the capital of Tatarstan is ahead of Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk.

In 2015, in the "People's Control" new categories has been added: "Violations of labor protection requirements", "Illegal career", "Corruption", "Homeless animals" and others.

"On one issue only one notification can be places, and if the issue that affects someone else have been already placed, you can expresses its support", - said Toscheva.

Unresolved problems are mainly related to lighting, road construction and repair, the solution of this requires large financial costs.

Toscheva noted that this year not a single violation of executive discipline was detected. "Today we have less than 1% of the requests in process and 69% of solved issues at the end of the year, the number of failures significantly reduced," – reporter noted the progress.

According to the chief of the management, measure of citizens assess of the results of considering the notification is quite subjective, but interesting. It is the sum of the positive and negative reviews. If in 2013 the figure was "-199", in 2015 it was "1238" made on the sum of the pros and cons of the citizens.

"During the year we held 16 meetings on the resource "People's Control" with the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan and made more than 60 trips to the problem places. Such close co-operation had a positive impact on the work, "- said E.Toscheva.

"Nearly 10 thousand solved problems for a year in the "People's Control" in addition to what we decide by a program for a year is a good indicator.
