(Kazan City KZN.RU, January 25). Mayor Ilsur Metshin won first place in media rating of information-analytical system "Medialogia" among the heads of the capitals of the subjects of the Volga Federal District in 2015.
Media index of Mayor of Kazan on the analysis of federal and regional media was 42890.31 points. Media reported that the Kazan City Duma of the new convocation chose incumbent Mayor Ilsur Metshin for a third term. Also notable events in the media was the appointment of Ilsur Metshin as the president of FC "Rubin" and inspection of readiness of major sports venues to XVI World FINA Aquatics - Mayor of Kazan visited the stadium "Kazan Arena", Arena for water polo, as well as FINA Park. The Mayor hopes to host the Summer Olympic Games in Kazan.
Mayor of Saratov Oleg Grishchenko (15,979.88 points) is in second place of media rating, the head of Perm Igor Sapko (11,309.48 points) - at third.
