Rustam Minnikhanov opened the youth club "Koyash Nury" in Kazan

(Kazan City KZN.RU, August 29). Kazan youth club "Koyash Nury" after overhaul was opened today by the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. He was accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, Assistant to the President of RT Leila Fazleeva, representatives of ministries and departments.

Teenage club "Koyash Nury" began its work in 1999 and is the center of additional education. The club has various sections: arts and crafts, sports, choreography, vocal lessons, and more. At the end of 2014 due to the poor state of the building it was decided to close it for repairs. Despite of this, the club continued its work: premises were provided by adjacent schools.

Restoration work began in February of this year. For 6 months the roof was replaced, facade was renovated, heating and water supply systems were upgraded, and interior works were carried out.

Today, the facility reopened its doors to visitors. Up to 600 children can be engaged in studies at the same time there.

Rustam Minnikhanov visited the renovated premises of the club: visited the gym, got acquainted with the various classes and talked with students and teachers of the teen center. Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan also praised landscaping of the area adjacent to the club. He was told that today in Kazan there are 63 such institutions where more than 16 thousand children are engaged in studies.

Recall that in 2014 the government of the republic has allocated funds of 38.3 million rubles to repair 5 youth clubs in Kazan. Another 2.5 million rubles went to the purchase of furniture. Through this program this year also 4 clubs will be updated: "Box" (st. Fuchik, 79a), "Ephebe" (st. Mavlyutov, 21), "Elektron" (st. Serov, 17) and "Start" (st. Pobezhimov, 53).

Then Rustam Minnikhanov visited the new park "Chishmyale", which is located on the same street. The recreation area is located next to a small pond where an improvised creek flows. Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan welcomed the thematic focus of the object, and urged residents to look after the cleanliness of the area carefully.

Then Rustam Minnikhanov went to st. Noksinsky spusk, where today the holiday of the yard on the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan was held. On a special stage a concert was organized for the residents. Upon arrival Rustam Minnikhanov talked with residents and congratulated them on the upcoming holiday, the press service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan says.
