32% of the population has been rewritten in Kazan
(KZN.RU, October 18, Ekaterina Andreeva). Today is the fifth day of the all-Russian population census. In the capital of Tatarstan about 32% of the population of the city has been rewritten. Natalia Gataullina, the Head of the Department of Kazan State Statistics has informed about it on today's Business Monday.
Remind that the National Census was launched on October 14. It involved the entire population of Kazan living in the city for over a year. Currently the estimated population of Tatarstan capital is 1 million 136 thousand people. The census will complete on 25 October. During 12 days each of the scribes will have to interview about 400 residents. "Kazan census is gaining momentum", N. Gataullina noted.
Aleksey Pesoshin, the Acting of the Head of Municipality under whose leadership today's meeting has passed and asked all those present especially the heads of districts to assist in the conduction of the census.
