The Mayor
of Kazan congratulated the active pensioners, who became participants of the project
for the citizens of the “third age” “Zhiznelub”, on the Day of the Cultural
Worker.
Elvira
Krupina, a pensioner, thanked the Mayor on behalf of the collective. According
to her, the gift of the Mayor was an impetus for the development of creativity:
another vocal collective, which was called “Zhiznelub”, was formed in the
cultural center “Saidash”.
This is not
the first time when the Mayor of Kazan helps musicians with instruments.
In
February, Svetlana Los’, an artistic director of the Youth Symphony Orchestra
of the RT, said that I. Metshin helped the collective with instruments (30 new
violins and 3 cellos were distributed to children free of charge), as well as
chairs, music stands, and conductor's accessories.
Almaz
Akhmetzyanov, a well-known Tatar accordionist, received an Estrade Italian
accordion as a gift from Ilsur Metshin. The musician has already tried the
instrument at the Cannes Festival, the Olympic Games in Vancouver, and other
cultural events, representing the Tatarstan delegation.
The Mayor
presented Zulfat Shafigullin, an 11-year-old disabled person who wrote a song
for the Universiade, the German accordion “Weltmaster”.
