Ilsur Metshin visits Farit Gubayev’s photo exhibition “The Art of presence”
The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited Farit Gubayev’s photo exhibition “The Art of presence” at the national gallery "Khazine" and talked with the author. The exhibition presents about 100 photographs included in the photographer's album of the same name.
“I first saw your work in 1983. Since those years, I have been a fan of your creativity,”- Ilsur Metshin said. He congratulated the photographer on the opening of the exhibition and wished him new creative achievements.
During a tour of the exhibition halls, Farit Gubayev told the Mayor about the heroes of the exhibition and the history of creating photographs. Ilsur Metshin highly appreciated the works and noted that the photos of the composer Sofia Gubaidulina could decorate the walls of the renovated Tchaikovsky Music School, where she studied.
“No video will be able to convey the depth of the picture. The exhibition is amazing. The works reflect the history of Kazan, the republic and the Soviet Union,”- the Mayor noted.
Farit Gubayev presented Ilsur Metshin with his first author's “The Art of Presence” album with more than 200 photographs.
