The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin presented the award to the Master of Sports of the USSR and three-time world champion in hockey among veterans, the director of the Smena sports school Andrey Pisarev. For his contribution to the development of physical culture and sports of Tatarstan, by the decree of Tatarstan President, he was awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Tatarstan”.
Ilsur Metshin congratulated the hockey player on his birthday. “All amateurs, professionals and the entire hockey world of the capital, the republic and far beyond its borders-know Andrey Pisarev. I want to thank you for your contribution to hockey. Let everyone in their 60s play hockey like an eighteen-year-old. I wish you good health and success. Let all the guys who play sports under your leadership and the leadership of your colleagues enjoy hockey,”- Ilsur Metshin addressed Andrey Pisarev.
According to Andrey Pisarev, today in Kazan the younger generation has all the necessary conditions for playing sports - new sports venues, hockey rinks and much more. When asked how to achieve success in sports, A. Pisarev answers confidently: “Only passion for your work can lead to success.”
The award ceremony took place the day before at the sports complex Zilant before a friendly match of veterans of Tatarstan hockey. The teams included the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, hockey veterans Andrey Pisarev, Andrey Makarov, Rafik Yakubov, Ravil Fazleyev, Alexander Rybakov and Vladimir Bokarev.
