This year the
Kazan Sdvig Chamber Theater celebrates its fifth anniversary. A solemn event
was held in the theater yesterday, which was attended by the Mayor of the city
Ilsur Metshin. He congratulated the theater team and presented awards to the
members of the creative team.
The festive
evening began with a performance “Should we eat someone” - about men who, by
the will of fate, found themselves in the open sea on a small raft. The story
tells about relationships, life values, weakness of the human spirit and the strength
of words.
After the
performance, Ilsur Metshin awarded a Letter of Thanks to the theater staff and
presented the badge of distinction “For Faithful Service to Kazan” to General
producer Mikhail Volkonadsky. Honorary Diplomas of Kazan were received by the
directors of the theater Mikhail and Elena Galitsky. Alexey Konev, the
technical director of the theater, was awarded the gratitude of the Mayor of
Kazan.
The Kazan Sdvig
Chamber Theater opened in 2017, but its appearance was preceded by a long
history of formation – from a student team to a full-fledged repertory theater.
Today, the theater is experiencing a new milestone in its history. Its repertoire
includes 13 performances of different genres and styles.
