(KZN.RU,
April 24). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, invited residents of the capital
of Tatarstan to take part in the subbotnik, which will be held on April 29 in
all districts of the city.
The Mayor
noted that there is still a lot of work, which is difficult to be done without
the support of citizens, despite the fact that contractors and management
companies have long begun to clean up the territories. I. Metshin invited all
Kazan residents to the subbotnik, noting that the personal example is
contagious. “This is the best example when children see how parents clean
around the house”, said the head of the city.
Also, the
Mayor of Kazan shared his impressions of walking around the city last weekend
during the Business Monday. According to him, the work on improving and
cleaning the capital of the Tatarstan is certainly visible but there are still
some shortcomings. During the walk, a pensioner appealed to the Mayor with a
request to “clean up” the public transport because cabins are often dirty.
The Mayor
decided not to postpone the case and conducted an unplanned inspection. “I took
a trolley bus from Leninsky Sadik. Outside, the trolleybus was more or less
clean. Inside, however, its condition, really, left much to be desired”, said
I. Metshin at the meeting and instructed to work out this issue, along with the
appearance of the conductors. At the same time, the head of the city positively
assessed the culture of service.
The Mayor
also marked that it is important to tidy up the main tourist routes and places
of visitors on the eve of the big events. “Somewhere you have to paint,
somewhere the tile has fallen, the letter has squinted, someone has unwashed
windows”, said the Mayor. According to him, there is not much dirt on the main
routes but there are no trifles here and everything needs to be taken into
account.
In
conclusion, the head of the city also added that the fight against the unauthorized
trade is still taking place with varying success. According to him, if the
positive tendency to reduce the points of unscrupulous entrepreneurs remains on
Bauman Street, then unauthorized trade in the Gorky Park is in full swing. I.
Metshin photographed certain problem points and sent it to colleagues “to work
through”.
“We must
clean up as soon as possible, including freeing our streets of garbage. So I
ask you to organize a city subbotnik at the proper level”, concluded the head
of the Tatarstan’s capital.
